With the Closed Beta Test kicking off, we’ve made a few balance changes and bug fixes so you get the most out of your time on the battlefield. Which units have been affected? Read on to find out!
These might seem light, as there are a lot of balance changes and fixes in the pipeline but not all have made it yet. We are working hard on these and testing them internally before having them tested by yourselves, so we'll be sharing a lot more soon!
Following our reports gathered from recent playtests, we found that spear units, and commanders that relied heavily on them were beginning to struggle to compete, especially in the high tiers. We've made adjustments to the core Greek Hoplite Phalanx, to give it more manoeuvrability and damage, whilst increasing the attack, defence and hit points of spear units. The unit stat adjustments are smaller in the lower tiers, and more substantial in the high.
